Configurable forms for healthcare professionals — fill on phone or tablet, transfer securely to hospital information systems.
Privacy Policy →epiMeda is a mobile medical data collection and integration platform designed for healthcare professionals. It enables easily configurable medical forms and protocols to be completed on smartphones and tablets, with the collected data securely transferred to Healthcare Information Systems (HIS).
Data collection forms are created using a dedicated web-based configuration portal. Each form field can be individually configured according to its purpose, data type, validation rules, and coding requirements, including the use of openEHR archetypes for structured clinical data.
Multimedia integration allows photos, videos, and other digital content to be attached to any form field. Multimedia can be used both for displaying information within a form and for collecting clinical data, for example, documenting a patient's condition through photographs or video.
In patient-related forms, patients can be identified by scanning a barcode or QR code from a patient wristband, label, or other identification medium. Once the patient is identified, demographic and other relevant patient information can be automatically retrieved from the healthcare institution's information system through an API.
Secure user authentication can be integrated using Microsoft Entra ID or Google Firebase Authentication. Access to the application can be restricted to pre-registered and authorized healthcare professionals.
epiMeda supports both iOS and Android and can be used on smartphones and tablets, providing a consistent data collection environment across devices.
